Information for our Retail Customers

At nan k. Designs, we are very committed to providing you with unique, individually handcrafted art jewelry in a spectrum of price ranges. We use only the finest materials in our work. All materials are described with each piece and each piece will be worked in 14 karat gold or gold-filled metal, fine (.999%) or sterling (.925%) silver, gemstones, Swarovski crystal, high quality Japanese, Italian or Czech glass. All natural materials (i.e. bone, amber, copal, beach glass, etc.) are the finest available. Copper is used as the armature in the mobiles and as a decorative element in some of the art jewelry. We string on top of the line cords; each best suited to the project. This can include Beadalon®, Stringth®, silk, Nymo® and Softflex®. We give the same attention to detail to all of our findings, choosing or fabricating in the above mentioned metals and stones/glass. Each piece is authenticated with our small logo tag, fabricated in either sterling or gold-filled metal, as is appropriate to the piece.

We do not mass produce our jewelry. This results in many unique, one of-a-kind pieces. That being said, there are a few designs that can be made in quantity and this is noted in the description. Some of these pieces can be made identically and some are dependent on very unique elements, which make each piece slightly different. When we mention quantity, we are speaking of 10 or less, in most cases. There are a few designs where we have larger resources for materials and these could be made in a larger quantity. We would be most happy to discuss this with you.

The other factor affecting you, our Retail clients, is time. Because we do not mass produce, in most cases our delivery schedule can not be immediate. Please know that we will make every attempt to commit to a prompt and efficient delivery schedule and that we will give you an honest estimate of the time needed to fill your order. When you contact us about a particular piece, we will give you availability and quantity information, wholesale pricing figures and an ETA on delivery.

Nan would be happy to bring a trunk show of any items of particular interest, or anything new in a particular style that is not yet on the site, to your buyer for a first hand look. If distance is too great, we can send a sample and contact you. Should you decide to carry our work, Nan is also available for in store events, merchandising and sales support.
